Dear Partners in Mission:

First and foremost, please know that the VOICE Board of Directors stands in solidarity with you and everyone working to help protect our elders and their care partners during this time of COVID-19 pandemic. You are true heroes, and we’re incredibly grateful for the work you’re doing each day.

Given the current situation, the 2020 ACCORD will be postponed from April 20 to July 13, 2020. We are working to finalize the venue, and will provide that information as it becomes available. We are grateful that the new date works for our keynote speaker, Teepa Snow. If for some reason the new date does not work for those who have already registered, we will offer substitutions (please contact the registrar at thess@goodnewsconsulting.com).

Person-directed approaches are more important than ever, as our elders across Pennsylvania are increasingly isolated during this pandemic. If you haven’t already done so, please check out the Pioneer Network website (https://www.pioneernetwork.net/resource-library/) for some great resources to engage elders during this challenging time.

Again, thanks so much for the incredible and invaluable work you are doing each and every day.

Sincerely,

Russ Mast

President,
VOICE Board of Directors

Welcome

Empowered elders living self-directed lives. That’s our singular vision, and what we work for every day. VOICE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering older adults and their care partners throughout Pennsylvania to make informed choices wherever they call home—whether that be in the home they’ve lived in for 40 years, a retirement/life plan community, an affordable housing community, an assisted living or personal care community, or a nursing home. VOICE is entirely volunteer-run, and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Thank you for joining us in this important movement!
